Cookies and storage
Last updated October 12, 2026
The short version
- Campus Connects sets no cookies.
- It keeps a few things in your browser that it needs to work, like your sign-in and doors waiting to send.
- No advertising, no tracking across sites and no analytics. That is why there is no cookie banner.
What the app keeps on your device
- Your sign-in, so you stay signed in. Removed when you sign out. Needed for the app to work.
- Doors waiting to send, so nothing is lost without a signal. Removed once they reach the server. Needed for the app to work.
- Saved content for offline use: scripts, voting facts, buildings and questions. Refreshed when you are online.
- Small preferences, such as tips you have seen. Kept until you clear them.
Cookies set by others
- Google or Microsoft sets its own cookies on its own site when you sign in with it. Their privacy policies cover them.
- Cloudflare, our host, may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to stop bots or attacks. It is not used for tracking.
Analytics
There are none. If we ever add usage analytics to learn what helps volunteers, we will update this page first, keep it free of advertising and cross-site tracking, give you a way to turn it off, and ask first wherever the law requires.
Your choices
Signing out clears your sign-in. Clearing your browser’s site data removes everything above, including doors that have not been sent yet, so check that the app says everything is saved first.
